COPYRIGHTS AND TRADEMARKS
You are solely responsible for your use of Content in combination with any other images, graphics, text, or materials you incorporate into your Products. You agree not to include any text, image, design, trademark, or copyrighted work of any third party unless you have obtained appropriate authorization. You warrant that your Products do not infringe upon any rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, or the right of publicity or privacy, and will not libel or defame any third party. By placing an order, you warrant that you have all necessary permission and authority to authorize Pear Pixels Packaging to produce the Products on your behalf.
CUSTOMER CONTENT
All information, data, text, photographs, and graphics (“Content”) are the sole responsibility of the person who produced such Content. You agree not to use the website to upload any Content that is indecent, unlawful, or infringes on intellectual property rights. Pear Pixels Packaging does not control Customer Content and does not guarantee its accuracy. You are responsible for protecting your password and controlling access to your registered account.
DESIGN FILES
Pear Pixels Packaging provides design files at 72 DPI (low resolution) by default. If you wish to purchase higher-resolution design files, please contact sales@pearpixelspackaging.com for a quote.
CUSTOMER SUBMITTED ARTWORK
All artwork, designs, and images must be provided in CMYK format with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI. Pear Pixels Packaging is not responsible for color changes during RGB to CMYK conversion, or for images that appear fuzzy, distorted, or pixelated due to low-quality customer-provided artwork.
PROOFING & MATCHING
All print jobs require customer approval of the final artwork and job specification sheet.
- Responsibility: Customers must review all details, including delivery dates, production speed, spelling, and design elements.
- Liability: Pear Pixels Packaging is not liable for errors (spelling, layout, or specifications) once the proof is approved.
- Color: Screen proofs represent layout and placement, not exact color or ink density. Lamination may also slightly alter the final appearance of printed colors.
MATERIALS
Please note that standard paper/card stock is not food grade. Any specific food-grade requirements must be communicated in writing before placing an order.
COLOR ACCURACY AND HARDCOPY PROOFS
We aim to reproduce colors as closely as possible, but we cannot guarantee a 100% match due to printing process limitations. Accuracy is guaranteed within 90% of the approved digital proof. For guaranteed color reproduction, a hardcopy proof must be ordered for an additional charge.
ORDER CANCELLATION
Orders may be canceled during different stages, but charges apply:
- Stage 1 (Order Placed): $15 plus 5% of the total amount (processing fees).
- Stage 2 (Design/Rework): Minimum 20% deduction of the total order amount.
- Stage 3 (Press/Production): Minimum 50% deduction (cancellation not guaranteed).
- Stage 4 (Shipped): No cancellation allowed.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
As all orders are unique and custom-made, All Sales Are Final. If an error is verified to be on our part, we will re-print the order. No cash refunds or credits will be issued.
RE-PRINTS
Customers must notify Pear Pixels Packaging within 3 business days of delivery regarding any defects, damage, or missing items. To receive a replacement, the customer must return at least 99% of the product at their own expense within 10 days of the delivery date.
ORDER SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
- STANDARD: Usually ships within 10 to 14 business days. (Shipping time not guaranteed).
- PRIORITY: Guaranteed to ship within 8 business days.
- EXPRESS: Guaranteed to ship within 6 business days.
- Note: Final proof approval must be received by 11:00 AM EST; otherwise, one business day is added to the timeline.
Pear Pixels Packaging is not liable for delays caused by technical issues, weather, shipping company delays, or international customs. Customers are responsible for all customs duties and fees for shipments outside the United States.
DAMAGED AND LOST PACKAGES
Please inspect packages for damage before accepting delivery. Claims for damage or missing items must be filed within 3 business days of delivery. Printing trade standards allow for underages or overages of up to 5%.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall Pear Pixels Packaging or its suppliers be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the loss of use, data, or profits arising out of or in connection with the use of the site or the failure to provide products or services ordered.
